Workshop to act as brigades of the UAB La Comunitària’s Purple Point, the 3th October, raising awareness and informing about the protocols and resources that the UAB makes available to the community to address situations of gender based and LGBTIphobic violence. 

There will be three training sessions before La Comunitària: 12, 19 and 26 September 2023. 

Free 25-hour workshop, with recognition of ECTS credits.

On Wednesday March 24, at 12h, the fifth edition of the awards for the best Final Degree Projects (TFG) with a gender perspective will take place, corresponding to the 2019-2020 academic year.

This year a total of 134 people have presented themselves and will receive the 32 TFG award. The event will be broadcast on the UAB Youtube channel.

The free elective credit activity “Sexual and gender-based violence in university: identifying and giving support” is offered by the Observatory for Equality and delivered by Lorena Garrido, professor at the Faculty of Law.

10, 17, 24 and 31 October (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.). On-site. Aulari Central, J/143. Room 25.

The training is free of charge and is financed by the State Pact against Gender-based violence fund. 2 ECTS credits for undergraduate students.

The first workshop of the masculinities workspace aimed at male students, "The men we want to be", takes place on October 26 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the School of Engineering. These dynamic two-hour sessions will discuss masculinity as a construction, masculinity and violence, and caring masculinities. They will be conducted by the CONEXUS association for psychosocial support, training and research.

The UAB presents the new masculinities workspace "The men we want to be" 

The presentation ceremony of the new support service for those men who want to transform their masculinity, "The men we want to be", will be presented on October 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Rectorate's Board Room. The iniciative will be performed in collaboration with CONEXUS association for psychosocial support, training, and research  The presentation will feature the rector of the UAB, Dr. Javier Lafuente, and other members of the government team.
