Juan Luis Arsuaga, co-director of the excavations at Atapuerca, will give a conference to inaugurate this year's second semester at the Faculty of Biosciences on Thursday 23 February. The conference forms part of the events celebrating ten years since the faculty first opened.

The recently published "Biology of Stress in Fish" was co-edited by UAB specialist Lluís Tort, lecturer of the Department of Cellular Biology, Physiology and Immunology. The book includes the latest research advances in the field. The volume aims to be useful in the sectors of physiology, biomedicine and animal welfare, among others.
