UAB's archaeology students participate in the Arqueoborn project

Students of the UAB bachelor's degree in Archaeology are participating this summer in the Arqueoborn project: researching the urban site of the El Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria with the objective of obtaining the entire chronostratigraphic sequence from between the end of the 13th century and the year 1717. Human gut virus found in over one-third of the world's countries

An international research with the involvement of the UAB demonstrates that the presence of a bacterial virus of the human microbiota, called crAssphage, is commonly found in the wastewaters of one-third of the world's countries, albeit with genetic variations depending to their geographic origin.
