Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

Applicants to the Master's degree must hold a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree. Given the profoundly interdisciplinary nature of the history of science, applicants can be graduates in humanities or science without distinction.

Applicants must have a good understanding of written English.

All requirements must be documented at the time of pre-registration.

Selection criteria

In the event that demand exceeds the number of places offered (40), the following criteria will be taken into account in order of priority:

  • Academic record (50 %)
  • Knowledge of languages (30 %), specifically English at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe.
  • If necessary, personal interviews may be held to complement to the selection process (20 %).
