The Master's Degree in Pediatric Allergies, Immunology and Pneumology is aimed at doctors specialising in pediatrics who wish to receive training in pediatric pneumo-allergology. Its objective is to provide these doctors with the necessary professional, academic and research skills, and with the tools for diagnosing and treating pneumological, allergic and immunological illnesses. It will fill what is currently an academic and professional gap in this country.
The Pediatric Allergies, Immunology and Pneumology Unit belongs to the Pediatric Medicine Service of Sabadell Hospital (Parc Taulí University Corporation). It has all the equipment, processes and circuits needed for teaching, along with experience in research and teaching.
Pediatric respiratory, allergic and immunological problems are frequent reasons for medical consultations. These three areas of knowledge overlap greatly.
