Are you a nurse looking to gain the necessary skills to lead nursing activities in the surgical area? Would you like to receive quality training to work as a professional in surgery in level II and III care specialties? Then the postgraduate degree in Surgical Nursing is for you.

The main objective of this degree is to enable the acquisition of general and specific skills required to provide specialist care for people who undergo a surgical process. To this end, the degree is taught by professionals who are experts in learning resources and practical training.

We also offer internships in distinct centers, such as level III hospitals, where pathologies of maximum complexity are treated. These hospitals carry out a full range of surgical specialties at the highest scientific, technological and humanistic level. In addition, workshops will be held at both classroom and hospital level, complemented by work sessions in small groups. All of this comes with the guarantee of studies consolidated since 1995.

Internships

The placement is mandatory and takes place in the professional context of a surgical area of ​​the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, ​​Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and San Rafael Hospital. The aim is for students to put into practice their knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to solve problems effectively and efficiently.

Students spend six weeks working to the same timetable as the nurse who tutors and assesses them. During this period students must build up a portfolio that includes a report on the learning they have acquired.
