Introduction

A Postgraduate Course in Smart Products Design responds to the need to create sustainable, ergonomic and functional products that adapt to user requirements. Such products are highly competitive on the market because they derive from innovation, programming and new technologies.

Smart Products can be associated with any ambit or topic, such as the home, health, mobility, business, etc.

Other computable factors for Smart Products are user security and protection, which gives importance to making good use of new technologies and other leading systems currently being developed.

Programmable products, with smart materials and incorporating touch screens, electronic systems and sensors (for instance), are perfectly compatible with products that are simple, practical and efficient. Each specific use calls for the most suitable solution with respect to user welfare.
