Researchers at CREAF have compared the amounts of dust deposited through the wet and dry pathways in two regions of contrasted African influence: the Tenerife Island and the Montseny massif. Data show that elements from African dust were mostly delivered as wet deposition in Montseny, while in the Canary Islands dry deposition predominated. The research also shows that African dust can provide a mechanism for purifying industrial and urban pollution.
Next Tuesday 21th of November, on the occasion of International Day Against Gender Violence, the Observatori per la Igualtat has organized a ceremony where a manifest will be read and “Captures” performance will be represented. It is a poetry recital with piano’s and percussion’s music. It will be at 13 o’clock in Sala Teatre.
