The activity "50 anys a tocar!" has been organised by the deans' support teams, the office of the Vice Rector for Institutional Relations and Cultura en Viu as part of the UAB's 50th anniversary celebrations. The installation of the pianos is possible thanks to a collaboration with the Maria Canals International Music Competition and is the result of the excellent approval these types of initiatives have had in the past at the UAB.

The pianos will be available for members of the university community to use from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

To ensure continuity throughout these two days, the faculties will also have professional piano players available during the day.

The UAB invites all pianists, singers and musicians in general to participate and offer other members of the campus the delight of hearing them play. Those interested can also come together and play different instruments, thus creating duets, trios, vocal groups, etc. In this way, all members of the UAB community (teaching staff, students and administration staff) interested in playing the piano can do so alone or together with other musicians.
