The UAB organises courses for the months of June and July in a new edition of the International Summer Term, which this year will include the subjects of geography, literature, economics and design. Students have until 15 May to register for the courses.

The International Summer Term offers students the opportunity to enrol in intensive courses of subjects included in the UAB's bachelor's degrees, earn credits for their home universities and meet students from around the world. All courses last three weeks and classes take place from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

The course in "International Economics" (six credits) will take place from 8 to 26 June at the Faculty of Business and Economics. From 29 June to 16 July, the courses "Geographical Visions of the World" and "Literatura comparada" (each worth six credits) will be offered at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, and the course "Architecture+Design" (five credits) will be offered at the UAB-affiliated centre Eina, University School of Design and Art.

Except for the comparative literature course, which is offered in Spanish, all others will be taught in English. The price for each course is 720 euros, except for the course on architecture and design, which is 600 euros. Once the course is completed, students receive an official certificate which includes all course details and the mark they earned, which they can then present at their home university and validate for the corresponding credits.
