The UAB Arts Groups are creation and learning spaces that offer a chance to explore an artistic discipline. Their members are students, lecturers and administrative and service staff who work all year under the guidance of highly respected, experienced professionals.

Continue with your artistic training while studying or working at the UAB

By joining one of the Arts Groups you can continue with your artistic training while studying or working on campus, something that makes this university stand out from the rest as a dynamic space for creativity and critical thinking.

To join one of the Arts Groups you must have had some training in the relevant discipline, meet the admission requirements, be available for rehearsals and meet with the head of the group for a test and/or interview. There is no charge for joining these groups and membership gives the right to ECTS credits.

You play an instrument? We have an Orchestra. You sing? We have a Choir and a Chamber Choir. You can act? We have a Theatre Group. You dance? Welcome to the Dance Group.

On the Cultura en Viu website, you will find the rehearsal dates and times for the 5 Arts Groups, and on the YouTube Channel you can see the shows and concerts they put on last year.

During 2014-15 114 students belonged to the Arts Groups. Between all 5 groups they gave over 50 performances both on- and off-campus, and they made exchanges with other university cultural groups.
