Two new calls for the UAB Solidarity Fund

It is oriented to PDI and PAS members, postgraduate, MA and PhD students. The Solidarity Fund promotes inter-university cooperation and strengthens teaching and research abilities of the counterparts of the South. One call will be opened until February 23rd and the other until March 30th.

The FAS publishes the regulatory bases of the 35th Call, oriented to PDI and pas members, and the E2017-2018 Call, oriented to postgraduate, MA and PhD students. The Fund promotes inter-university cooperation and strengthens teaching and research abilities of the counterparts of the South
The UAB Solidarity Fund supports projects of cooperation with countries of the South. Also, it promotes educational activities for the development oriented to the university community. It is the community that mostly finances the Fund, from the UAB, the PDI, the PAS and the students contributions. It is the 0,7% of the international budget.
The 35^th Call for the PDI and PAS has two lines of grants. On one hand, in the area of cooperation for development (line 1), the priority are inter-university cooperation projects oriented at the strengthening of teaching and research abilities of the counterparts of the South, and at the improvement of university management.
On the other hand, in the area of development through education (line 2), the grants encourage activities aimed to promote critical knowledge and the introduction of contents and tools with perspective of development to transform UAB studies. For example,
The period to enter applications for this call will open on 11^th January and will close on 26^th February 2016. For example, proposals can be included in the transversalization of the studies in the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The period to enter applications for this call will open on 8^th January and will close on February 23^rd 2018.
The call for E2017-2018 pretends to encourage the participation of postgraduate, MA and PhD students in projects and initiatives of university cooperation in countries of the South, or initiatives of development through education directly related to their ongoing studies. It is possible to make proposals related to other UAB projects, Master research projects or projects related to PhD.
The period to enter applications for this call will open on 8^th January and will close on March 30^th 2018. The bases and the registration forms are already available.
