What importance do you think speaking in public has in every-day life and in university?

It is very important, but not only speaking in public, non verbal communication is also very important: it is the way we present ourselves and how others see us. In universities is now more and more normal for students to have presentations to practice these skills, because they are essential for the professional world.

In the conference, what will you speak about? Do you have any project?

We are the tecnomags, and we are the first and only magicians in all Spain who do magic with IPads, smartphones and smartwatches. We have left wands and top hats behind. It all started with the company that we created, Abracadapp, which intended to modernize magic. We have worked withJorge Blas and David Copperfield, among others. We also perform for companies, mixing magic and marketing. We focus mainly on the corporate sector, which is a sector quite unknown in the world of magic.

How can your experience help UAB students?

I think that many students may have been curious about magic as children because of the game Magia Borrás. The key to innovation is not always in the biggest companies or only in the technology sector, but sometimes it is hidden in more traditional disciplines.
