The International Summer Term is now the UAB Barcelona Summer School

Summer is coming! The UAB opens its registration period for this year's UAB Barcelona Summer School, with a new name and a wide range of new subject from different areas, 100% in English and in its already third edition.

At the UAB Barcelona Summer School you will enjoy a summer academic experience at the UAB campus: a culturally international, dynamic and cosmopolitan university. Plus, its natural surroundings are just a stone throw's away from Barcelona.

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is renowned for its international value and excellent positioning in some of the most influential world rankings.

At our summer school you will be able to enrol in a variety of undergraduate subjects worth 6 ECTS (*) credits each from different areas of knowledge. All subjects are offered 100% in English. Courses will be offered in two three-week periods: from late June to mid July and from mid July to early August. Subjects are taught at the UAB university campus, located in the midst of a natural environment of great ecological value and including the best of services: culture, sports, leisure activities, outdoor activities and residence halls. And it is all just a short train ride away from Barcelona (35’ from Plaça Catalunya).

The UAB Barcelona Summer School's academic programme is accompanied by the Buddy Programme, created to help international students share their experience with other students from abroad and also with local UAB students, to discover the culture of Catalonia and participate in the university's activities. (*) Depending on the regulations of each home university, especially if there is a mobility agreement with the UAB, students will be able to transfer the credits earned during their stay to their current degree.
