The cafeteria of the Social Sciences Library will remain open on weekends and academic holidays

This decision was taken to be able to serve students studying at the library during the weekends leading up to the second semester exams' period.

The cafeteria of the Social Sciences Library will open on weekends (19, 20, 26 and 27 May and 2, 3, 9 and 10 June), and on Monday 21 May (public holiday). The café will be open from 9:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m. The decision was taken after noticing a large amount of students during the final exams period and is an initiative which began in 2017 and will be repeated this year.

The café is normally open on weekdays from 8 a.m.to 7:30 p.m. Increasing the café's opening hours was decided after evaluating with the library's management team the number of students and the prediction of even more students during this period. The decision was taken jointly with the restaurant franchise Clece, in charge of managing the Social Sciences' café.

The café is located in the middle of the Bellaterra Campus, next to the Faculty of Law.
