Participate in the first edition of the “Nature in the Campus” Photography Contest.

The FAS Nesting Boxes volunteer group organizes the first edition of the "Nature in the Campus" photography contest, which focuses on original pictures with elements of the nature of the campus and the surrounding area. The author of the winning picture will receive a nesting box and the second prize will be a FAS bock'n'roll.

Do you want to put into practice your creative and photography skills? Are you also interested in nature photography? And, do you want to have the opportunity to win a prize? Now you have chance to do so! How? You can participate in the first edition of the "Nature in the Campus" photography contest, organized by the Nesting Boxes volunteers of the Solidarity Autonomous Foundation (FAS).

The procedure is simple: until 24 April at 12 h noon you can send a maximum of two original and personal pictures to fas.caixesniu@gmail.com. The pictures must include some elementof the nature of the campus and the surrounding area. The files must have the name of the contestant.

The voting period will be open from 25 April until 1 may at 11.55 pm, a week that coincides with the Earth Day. The pictures will be uploaded to the FAS's Facebook, where people will vote their favourite by clicking the "like" button. When the deadline closes, the two winning pictures will be announced.

The first prize will be chosen by a jury of Nesting Boxes volunteers, and the winner will receive a nesting box, a tool to learn more about the environment and the observation of nature, the box is especially useful for birds that nest in cavities. The winning picture will be displayed in the Campus for a while.

The second position will be for the most voted picture in Facebook and the prize will be a FAS bock'n'roll with the motto "Mossega el canvi".
