Highest entrance mark in Catalonia required to study Physics + Mathematics

The entrance marks corresponding to the first allocation of places for the 2014/15 academic year confirms the high demand for UAB bachelor's degrees, especially in the branches of sciences, biosciences and health sciences. Physics + Mathematics is the degree with the highest entrance mark this year, 12.741.

Sixteen UAB bachelor's degrees require entrance marks higher than ten points.

As in previous years, the entrance mark for the bachelor's degree in Physics + Mathematics at the UAB is the highest in all of the Catalan university system, and students interested in enrolling in this degree must have a minimum score of 12.741 over 14 to be admitted.

A total of sixteen of UAB's bachelor's degrees require an entrance score of over ten points. In addition to Physics + Mathematics, high entrance marks are required for Medicine UAB-UPF (12.356), Medicine (12.152), Biomedical Sciences (11.934), Genetics (11.624), Veterinary Medicine (11.234), Biotechnology (11.126), Physics + Chemistry (11.102), Biochemistry (11.070), Microbiology (10.848), Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (10.590), Advertising and Public Relations (10.502), Biology (10.374), Environmental Biology (10.326), Physiotherapy (10.130) and Criminology + Law (10.104), a new joint degree which will be offered in the 2014/15 academic year.

Once again, this year's entrance marks confirm the excellent level of acceptance of the UAB's joint degrees among students, as well as the importance of its degrees in the fields of science, bioscience and health sciences.

Students will begin to enrol in university this week. The UAB organises information sessions on 14 July for first-year students and includes useful information on the enrolment process on its enrolment website and by phone (+34 93 581 11 11).
