The annual announcements for the update of the Director of the UAB are opened

Starting today, June the 1st, the call for the update of elDirectori, the registration of the associations of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​is opened.

From today June the 1st, three calls are opened for the UAB association as a whole. In the first place, updating the data of the groups registered in elDirectori. All groups have the duty to keep their data updated year after year to continue with their enrollment in elDirectori during the next course, those who do not, will be considered inactive. This procedure allows maintaining a true record of the associative movement of the university and that is a mirror of the active participation that takes place in the Campus.
 
Secondly, the deadline for responding to the Participation Map is also open, a survey that is carried out among the groups registered in elDirectori, to know the characteristics of the associations of the UAB (its composition, the faculties where they are most active, etc.). ) and to put in value the task of the collectives of the university.
 
Finally, the groups that want to use the ticket offices of the Hotel of Entities during the 2018/2019 academic year should request its use, both those who have it currently on loan and those who want to use it for the first time. The deadline for the three calls ends on June the 30th.
 
Last assembly of elDirectori
 
Last Thursday, May 24th, the last monthly assembly of elDirectori was held before the end of the 2017 to 2018 academic year. The event took place in the Sala Annexa of the Hotel of Entities from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and three main topics were discussed: the last activities from the Resources Center, among them, the exhibition of the 3D printer donated by Humans Academia and the celebration of the Freaky Pride Day; the calls for June for the collectives and, finally, the process of elections for the Coordinator of elDirectori, which will take place between September the 10 andth October the 1st, 2018.
 
In the first place, throughout the year, the Community Involvement Unit has encouraged the groups to propose and carry out activities in the Resource Center for Students Societies with the aim of publicizing and encouraging the participation of the university community. It is the groups themselves that take the initiative on the subject of the activity and, later, Community Involvement supports its materialization. The goal was to have activities appear every month and this year has been a success.
 
With regard to the last point of the agenda, starting next year, maintaining the assembly as a sovereign body, the associative fabric of the UAB will organize through a collective coordinator. This will be formed by five people chosen by vote that will represent the associations in several spaces: two to the commission of evaluation of aid, one as a representative to CEUAB and the Commission on Students and Employability, and two people in charge of coordinating the whole of the Assembly with the Unit of Community Involvement (to establish the agenda and dates for the assemblies).
