Participate this summer 2018 too!

Do you have plans for this summer? From the Unit of Community Dynamization we offer you a lot of activities with academic recognition throughout the months of June and July. Among them, the Student Representation Workshop, the Buddy Program, the Mediation Workshop and the beginning of the Mentor.

With the end of the academic year comes the summer and, with it, a lot of activities with academic recognition. Because you can not only enjoy the university during the course, you can also participate in summer! Registration for all these activities will be open from May 2nd to June 11th, 2018. Each of them will recognize 1 ECTS.

If you want to discover the university from within, the student representation workshop (from July 9th to 12th, 2018) allows you to maintain a first contact with the student representation bodies, meet the figure of the delegate or delegate, know what regulations affect to students and participation, and also to discover other forms of participation in the UAB. To participate in this workshop you have to fill in the registration form.

From the Community Involvement Unit, we also offer the Mediation Workshop, from July 16th to 19th. In this workshop, students will learn how to approach everyday conflicts from a restorative perspective. This is a workshop that seeks to introduce concepts linked to mediation and restorative practices and that provides tools to resolve conflicts. The workshop will be developed through practical cases within the context of participation in the university. You can register through this form.

If you belong to the local student body enrolled during the 2017/2018 academic year at the UAB and wish to meet international students during the summer (from the end of June to the beginning of August), the Buddy Program is the best option. The figure of the buddy aims to encourage, through participation and dynamization, the interaction between local and international students participating in the UAB Barcelona Summer School 2018. Is you want to convert into buddies, you just have to fill out this form.

Finally, as every year, Mentor registrations also begin for the first trimester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This program aims to facilitate the stay of international students at the UAB and to offer the support of local students to students from other countries, in order to accompany them in their integration into the academic, social and cultural world of the university. If you want to interact with international students and, at the same time, practice languages, do not hesitate to join by filling out this form. This activity has a recognition of 2 ECTS.
