The UAB among the top 100 worldwide in several subjects

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings recently published its Times Higher Education Subject Rankings 2018. The UAB occupies position 92 worldwide in the subject of Business & economics, position 96 in Arts & humanities, and is among the top 150 universities in the subject of Social sciences.
 
The ranking, which in its general edition published in September placed the UAB in position 147 worldwide, highlights the research quality of the UAB, measured using the impact of scientific papers, with a score of 89.5 over 100.
 
For the overall evaluation 13 performance indicators are used: calibrated to offer balanced and comprehensible comparisons. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings are one of the most prestigious worldwide rankings. Data is gathered, analysed and verified by the SCOPUS worldwide database provider, belonging to Elsevier.
