Activitats Participa també a l'estiu
No plans for the summer? Then why not take part in UAB student involvement activities on June and July: a workshop on student representation, a workshop on conflict mediation, the Buddy programme, the University Parliament Week and the Quick Debate Marathon.

07/06/2017

The Quick Debate Marathon, on 27 and 29 June, seeks to promote debate and dialectical confrontation and also raise awareness among the student community of equality of rights between men and women. This year, the topic for debate will be: Is equality between men and women the true key to rigorous science?

The aim of the workshop on student representation is to show UAB’s different student involvement channels. The workshop will revolve around student representation at UAB, the role of class delegates and suprauniversity representation. From 10 to 13 July, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The mediation workshop, from 17 to 20 July, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., provides tools to settle everyday conflicts. The workshop also offers an introduction to mediation and restorative methods to mediate in a constructive manner.

Want to practise languages and meet foreign students? The Buddy programme seeks to encourage the relationship between local students and the international students involved in the International Summer Term programme 2017, through social and cultural activities on campus. Those interested need to be available from the end of June until early August, as the activity will take place in the summer.

Are you journalists, political experts, jurists or translators? Then come to the University Parliament Week (SPUNI) and you will get the chance to learn about the structure of the Catalan Parliament, how does our parliamentary system work and take part in a simulation of parliamentary activity. From 15 to 21 July.

All these activities can be recognized with ETCS credits! Don’t miss out and sign up!
