Support for language learners, 2017: new calls for applications

The UAB has made new calls for applications for language-learner support, open to its students, teaching staff and PAS: for language learning, thesis writing, and organisation of conferences and workshops. Check them out!

The university has made three calls for applications for language-learner support, open to all sectors of the university community.

If you are writing a doctoral thesis in Catalan or English, consult the support for writing a doctoral thesis in Catalan and English. This consists of help from a Language Service teacher to improve the linguistic quality of your thesis. This call for applications will be open till 1 December 2017.

For students doing curricular placements abroad (Erasmus+ or other programmes), and who have taken a language course, a grant is available to cover part of the cost of that course. The first phase of this call for applications will be open till 28 April 2017.

UAB teaching staff and PAS thinking of organising a conference, workshop or seminar around the topic of multilingualism in university teaching should consult the support for organising conferences and workshops on management of multilingualism in university teaching. This call for applications will be open till 22 September 2017.
