AIDA Programme in support of UAB faculties and schools

The UAB has issued a call for applications for support in intensifying the use of English as a medium of instruction (AIDA Programme). The period for submitting applications is now open.

The UAB has opened the 2018 call for applications from faculties and schools for support in extending and intensifying English-medium instruction within their bachelor's and master's degree programmes.

The AIDA Programme promotes English-medium instruction in bachelor's and master's degree studies. Its aims are to improve local students' competence in English and intercultural communication, attract international students with no knowledge of Spanish or Catalan, and facilitate double degree and joint degree programmes.

It provides funding for teaching staff at UAB faculties and schools to take part in the following training programme in English-medium instruction:

Intensive English for Academic Staff (course)
English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI), Intensive Training (course) 
Teaching in practice: class observation and tutoring 
Accreditation

The period for submitting applications is now open. It ends on 25 May.
