The master's degree in Applied Physiotherapy in Sport and Physical Activity will not be offered during the 2019/20 academic year.
The main objective of the official Master's Degree in Applied Physiotherapy in Sport and Physical Activity is to train professionals specialised in Physiotherapy who are capable of attending to health promotion and the prevention of health risks, as well as to the recovery of athletes and people with sport injuries by using specific techniques for each situation, all while respecting the professional code of ethics.
The master's degree is organised by the Escola Doctor Robert, a centre affiliated to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which also receives the support of the General Secretary of Sports of the Government of Catalonia, in charge of providing institutional collaboration.
This specific training programme, jointly put together by the two entities, will provide those enrolled with all the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond to the sports-related demands of society.
