Official Master's Degree in Theatre Studies
IntroductionThe University Master's Degree in Theatre Studies (MUET), coordinated by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, is recognised in all European Union countries. The MUET is a research-oriented programme organised jointly with the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and the Barcelona Theatre Institute (ITB), with the collaboration of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
The MUET aims to offer a platform for reflecting on the theory of performing arts from various methodological perspectives. As it includes two specialisations, it can appeal both to creators and to researchers. The research specialisation provides the necessary credentials to go on to PhD studies.
