Master description

The programme's main objective is to train up researchers in the Performing Arts, and it includes two possible specialisations: History and Theory of the Performing Arts - which emphasises theoretical and historical discourses - and Theory and Practice of Creative Processes - which emphasises research through practice. Out of a total offer of 87 ECTS, 60 need to be taken in order to obtain the degree, over one academic year.

Students of both specialisations take one compulsory module of 15 ECTS and the master's dissertation (12 ECTS), 15 ECTS for their specialisation, and 3 optional modules of 6 ECTS that include the external work placement (Practicum).

The study plan is distributed over 2 semesters. One of the compulsory modules and both specialisation modules are taken in the first semester, while the optional modules and the master's dissertation are taken in the second.
