Official Master's Degree in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies

Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

Admission requirements are the following:

• Official university diploma
• Knowledge of languages:
     o Specialisation in "Translation and Intercultural Mediation" 
          Spanish - Level C1 
          English - Level B2
     o Specialisation in "Translation and Intercultural Studies"
          Spanish - Level B2 
     o Specialisation in "Conference Interpreting"
          A Language Spanish / English - Level C2
          C Languages English, French, German, Spanish - Level C1
     o Specialisation in "Modern East Asia"
          Spanish - Level B2
• Additionally, for the specialisation in "Conference Interpreting", you will need to pass a diagnosis test in which language aptitudes such as comprehension and refomulation of oral texts are tested.

You must present your university diploma, your academic transcirpt and the corresponding language certificates.
Tutorial sessions are held in which you will be interviewed by the master's coordinator before enrolling, with the aim of helping you decide which specialisation to choose and if there is any need for you to enrol in additional training courses.

Selection criteria

In the case of there being more applicants than places available, the following selection criteria will be applied:

1. Graduates in Translation and Interpreting or equivalent studies 50%
2. Knowledge of language higher than that required 30%
3. Student record 20%
