Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

The profile of students who complete the master's degree is that of university graduates in Physiotherapy and Nursing trained in applied research and technological innovation and scientific progress in health, both for the improvement of their professional practice and scientific progress and the application of the results to clinical practice. Students must be able to provide suitable health education in order to empower the patient and maintain an optimal state of health in their pathological process. 

Graduates will acquire skills for interpersonal relations and for teamwork and multicentre networking, the ability to listen and adapt to a constantly changing environment, as well as responsibility, dedication and digital skills to use computer tools designed for the development of virtual subjects.

They will also be able to undertake independent study, take on responsibilities and be committed to health and well-being, while showing respect for people's values and culture, as well as for the ethical rules and laws in force.

These skills are not specifically assessed prior to entry, but are recommended for candidates so that they are aware of the attitudinal requirements of this master's programme.

To gain access to the master's degree, candidates must hold an official Spanish university degree or diploma in Physiotherapy or Nursing, or another equivalent qualification issued by a higher education institution in another European Higher Education Area state or another country that provides access to master's degree courses.

Selection criteria

If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places offered, places will be allocated according to the following priority criteria:

- Professional curriculum (50 %)

- Academic record (30 %)

- Accreditation of English or French at B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe (10 %)

- A letter of motivation (10 %)
