THE teaching
The new ranking places the UAB among the top universities in Europe in teaching excellence, and highlights the resources destined to teaching and the inclusive environment found on campus.

The Times Higher Education has added to its analysis of European universities from a research viewpoint, an analysis conducted from the optics of academics. This new ranking is the first addressed exclusively to teaching and includes four basic pillars: academic resources, commitment and interaction between students and the institution, results generated by the university and the existence of an inclusive environment.

The analysis takes into account the results of the European Student Survey, which examines a wide array of aspects such as the commitment of students to their studies, the interaction with lecturers, the quality of university services and opportunities for developing the skilles needed to further their development after university.

The UAB stands out especially in the academic resources used and in its inclusive environment. It ranks 20 among European universities, behind the University of Navarra, which ranks 8, and the University of Barcelona, in 19th position. The top universities in Europe are Oxford and Cambridge in the UK and the Sorbonne University in France.
