Margarita Salas Falgueras

Margarita Salas was named honorary doctor by the UAB in recognition of her contribution to the discovery of the mechanisms of morphogenesis and of replication and control of gene expression of bacterial viruses, through her valuable and fruitful dedication during 50 years to the study of bacteriophage φ29 as a model.
