From 6 to 26 August most UAB centres will be closed. Only specific services will remain available.
The Information Service will be open from 1 to 3 August and from 27 to 31 August, from 10 am to 1 pm (Tel: +34 93 581 11 11, informacio@uab.cat). The International Welcome Point will be open from 1 to 10 August and from 20 to 31 August from 9:30 am to 3 pm. The UAB Graduate School and Support Service Unit will be open all month, Mondays to Fridays from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Registry Office at the Rectorate building will be open all August, Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 2 pm.
Another service that will be open all month is the Physical Activity Service (SAF), Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 am to 10 pm.
The study hall of the Social Sciences Library will be open from 9 am to 9 pm from 1 to 26 August, and from 27 August the study hall will be open 24 hours a day. The study hall of the Humanities Library will be open from 1 to 3 August to 27 to 31 August from 8:30 am to 1:45 pm. Opening hours of all other libraries can be consulted at the Libraries Service website.
The UAB Healthcare Service will open from 1 to 5 and from 27 to 31 August from 9 am to 3 pm. In case of a medical emergency please contact the on campus security services at 93 581 25 25, available 24 hours. The Centre for Computer Support and Service to Users will be open Mondays to Fridays (please check opening hours at the website of Computer Support and Service).
The internal bus service will not be offered from 6 to 26 August. From 1 to 3 and 27 to 31 August, buses will run every 30 minutes. Timetables are available at the website of Mobility and transport.
The bar at Social Sciences will open again on 27 August and the self-service bar at the Plaça Cívica will open again on 29 August. In both cases, opening hours will be from 8:30 am to 4 pm. Cafeteria Larissa and Restaurant Sirius, at the Hotel Campus, will be open all August.
