Frank Wylzeck, awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2004, visited the UAB to attend "Physis", the 10th International Ontology Congress, organized in collaboration with EHU and Unesco. ?Universo extremo? is the title of a science documentary presented by the Centro de Ciencias de Benasque Pedro Pascual, directed and edited by Maria Teresa Soto, lecturer of the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising. The 26-minute documentary explains how the Magic telescope, located at El Roque de los Muchachos on the island of La Palma, detects and analyses the gamma rays reaching Earth from the most hostile areas of the universe. The documentary was made thanks to the participation of several researchers from the Institute of High Energy Physics.
