Laboratory of Simulation of Sociohistorical Dynamics (LSDS)
A new service at UAB permits members to carry out computer simulations of social systems.
For example, the simulation allows to create a virtual model of the city and study how transport can be more efficiently managed by observing the results obtained when changing the direction of one or more streets. Analyses of different emergency exit routes in buildings and facilities can be carried out. A virtual auction can also be programmed with the aim of studying the reactions of real persons.
