A Màster class by Dr. Andrea Gavinelli in the Master in Animal Law and Society within the module of Animal Welfare in the European Union will take place in Aula 3 (Room 3) of the Facultad de Derecho (Law Faculty) of the UAB.
Andrea Gavinelli is a veterinarian who has been an official civil servant in the European Commission since 1999. Currently he is the head of the Unit of Animal Welfare in the Directorate General for Health and Consumers. Since 2001, he has been an active member in the “Working Group on Animal Welfare” of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and a member of specific work groups at the international level with business members of the European Union.
