Ombuds Officer

• The UAB Ombuds Officer (Síndic de Greuges) is responsible for receiving complaints and observations made about how the University functions, guaranteeing that the Statutes are upheld, and proposing non-binding solutions to the problems they have been made aware of to the relevant bodies.

  The University Ombuds Officer must carry out their duties independently and objectively. There is no compulsory mandate, and no instructions are sent from any authorities. They must carry out their duties independently, according to their own criteria, but these must not contradict the regulations laid down in the UAB Statutes.
  
  Josep Font is currently the University's Ombuds Officer.
