Official Master's Degree in Classical Archaeology
Introduction
The Master's Degree in Classical Archaeology trains students in archaeological methodologies and offers them a professional qualification, as well as the chance to specialise in proto-historical archaeology, Greek and Roman archaeology and archaeology of late antiquity. The focus is on ancient Mediterranean societies, which are studied through their material culture, texts and environmental data.The Master's Degree in Classical Archaeology introduces students to archaeological research through the activities of the universities and other institutions involved. Other priority learning objectives are preventive archaeology, and managing and teaching about the archaeological heritage.
