Open access publication To all scientific, educational and administrative productions from the university community. The DDD, Dipòsit Digital de Documents de la UAB, makes it possible to access all of the digitally formatted material found in the libraries. It encompasses a diverse collection in regard to media, subjects and typology of documents, such as thesis, journal articles, papers and communications, multimedia or institutional publications. DDD also is involved in other cooperative digital repositories such as TDX (for doctoral thesis), RecerCat (for research documents, preprints, reports, working papers...) and RACO (scholarly catalan journals on open access). To publish in a open access digital repository involves to increase the visibility of documents, authors and of the institutions that support them, and add value to to documents by standardised quotations, statistics on queries, permanent addresses and preservation mechanisms.
