Frank Wylzeck, awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2004, visited the UAB to attend "Physis", the 10th International Ontology Congress, organized in collaboration with EHU and Unesco. Taking advantage of his visit, we asked Wylzeck three questions on the quantum world and his recent research on space-time crystals.

Jean-Marie Lehn was awarded with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1987 for his research on molecular recognition. Lehn studied how two molecules interact to form a union with different properties from the original, becoming one of the fathers of supramolecular chemistry.

Sixto Malato holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences and is in charge of the Unit for Solar Treatment of Water and directs CIESOL, a centre affiliated to the University of Almeria and CIEMAT.
