Location of the campus UAB:
The campus UAB is located 20Km outside of Barcelona, in Bellaterra (municipality of Cerdanyola del Vallès), between the ….. (link al plano campus UAB)
By train:Renfe (Spanish railway network). There are trains from Barcelona to Cerdanyola-Universitat every thirty minuts and the journey takes thirty minutes. There is a free-of-charge shuttle bus service which runs from the station to the campus. Link www.renfe.es
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan railway network) Take the Barcelona/Sabadell line to reach the UAB. There are trains every ten minuts. Link www.fgc.es
By bus: SARBUS company has line from Barcelona to Cerdanyola. There are bus line every 30 minutes and the journey takes between 20 and 30 minutes..Link www.sarbus.cat
By taxi: It cost about 30€ to get from the airport to the UAB and 20€ from the Barcelona city
FIRST STEPS:
On arrival at the UAB contact the International Welcome Point located in the Plaça Civica. It is open from 9 to 19:00 from Monday to Friday (August from 9 to 14:00).

On campus: The Vila Universitaria is a residencial complex with 632 apartments located on the campus UAB. The types of apartments offered exchage students are type B (4 people and price per month is 198€/person) and type D (1-2 people and price per month 450€/apartment or 225€/person).(link www.vilauniversitaria.com

According to the students who were here during the 2003/2004 academic year, the cost of living amount to 750€- 800€ per month.
The UAB has several student restaurants which provide students with reasonable prices and set menus that cost between 5€ and 8€. Students can enjoy reductions on train fares.
